Kingdom Business Tour - DC

Come Join Ernest Clover and Tour the DC Dream Center

Do you want to see how God is working in the community and how He connected the dots in the life a leader? If so, please join us at this stop of the Kingdom Business Tour. You will leave encouraged, and hopefully see yourself in this story with new insights and an expanded network of like-minded Kingdom leaders.

The DC Dream Center is a vision of National Community Church - a place for community where the needs of people in our city, especially youth, are met. From mentoring and tutoring to personal development and legal assistance, the DC|DC encompasses a spectrum of programs from low-barrier after-school activities and tutoring, to programs that offer deeper engagement such as one-on-one mentoring. We are dedicated to serving the needs of the community through a holistic approach. One person at a time, the DC|DC inspires youth and adults to dare to dream and learn to lead, so that they reach their God-given potential.

Ernest Clover
Executive Director of DC Dream Center

Ernest Clover is the Director of the DC Dream Center (DC|DC) and Southeast White House, (SeWH). He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Ernest graduated from Defiance College and it was during this time there that he knew he wanted to help people and thought politics would be the best way to accomplish that. It wasn’t until an internship in 2007, on Capitol Hill, that he was exposed to the thought that this could happen in a new way by following the teachings of Jesus. During this time on the Hill he would volunteer at the Southeast White House. Even though he would go on to receive a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Denver, the impact from his time in DC never left him. So when he moved to the DMV he went back to the SeWH to be a mentor, where he has served for 6 years. Rachel and Ernest Clover have been married for seven years and have a son named Dylan.
