In order for the next generation of Christian leaders to carry on the legacy of the previous generation, we must draw close and learn from each other.
This conference will connect influential young Christian leaders with impactful ministry veterans for helpful dialogue and relevant instruction to prepare both generations for lasting Kingdom impact!
General Sessions
Elijah & Elisha Conversations
At each General Session throughout the weekend, you will experience Mantle Conference-exclusive interviews between spiritual fathers and spiritual sons. These candid conversations will give you a glimpse into the years of experience and wealth of expertise of some of the most impactful ministry leaders of our time.
The Elijah Distinction
This year, as we gather to grow amongst generations, we will honor a trailblazer and a model for a lifetime of ministry excellence. Archbishop Alfred A. Owens, Senior Pastor of Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church and our Elijah Distinction Honoree, will preach our Friday night opening session. On this night, we will take the opportunity to celebrate his stellar legacy, and to enjoy his stellar preaching gift.
Closing Session

The closing session will be a brief panel of young, impactful Christian leaders giving brief thoughts about the future of Christian ministry, the need for young leaders in the current ministry landscape, and the need for a healthy connection with our elders in order to fully realize the potential of God’s call on their lives.

Ministry as a Husband & Wife Team

God has called you into ministry AND into marriage. How do these two fit together? This session will teach you how to maximize each of your unique gifts and supporting each other in ministry while managing a thriving marriage.
More Than a Mentor
Dr. Bobby Manning; Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr.
What is a spiritual parent? How do I get one? What do I do with my Spiritual Father wounds? Every minister needs a spiritual parent. This session will discuss how to identify a spiritual parent, how to submit and serve under that spiritual parent, and how to get the most out of this vital, biblical relationship.
Managing Ministry Money

This informative session will cover the nuts and bolts of how to handle compensation packages, properly registering your preaching/teaching ministry, navigating ministry taxation, social security laws, housing allowances, preparing for retirement, and leaving a financial legacy.

Lead Like a Lady

God has uniquely gifted and called women to serve the local body of Christ. However, such a call comes with its own unique challenges. If you are a lady who God has called to carry the mantle of Christian leadership, this workshop is for you!
A Seat at the Table

Have you been thrust into a leadership position at a young age? How do you gain respect while giving respect? How do you identify your prime movers and build necessary allegiances? This session will encourage and instruct young ministry leaders on best practices in achieving leadership positions at a young age, and how to steward this great responsibility.
The Slow Leaks

Most blow-outs begin with slow leaks. This session will discuss essential patterns from Scripture that will help you plug those slow leaks and prevent small issues become disastrous. Discuss some down to earth, field-tested, gospel-centered, biblically-based insights to empower you to finish well.
Mantle Meetups
Join the community as young, impactful leaders gather throughout the year for mutual encouragement and mentorship.
“Mantle Meetups” are quarterly power breakfasts hosted by The Heights Church. Continue the conversation from the conference as we connect with each other as well as seasoned ministry mentors to challenge and encourage us!
